EARLY PREVIEW · OCTOBER 2026

A clear view
of your privacy.

Automatic recipe preparation

The extension checks pages locally for recipe markup or recipe headings. When it detects a recipe, it sends the page URL to api.purecookbook.com. It does not send page contents, cookies, passwords, or your general browsing history. You can turn this off in the extension menu. Use browser site-access controls to restrict where it runs.

What our service stores

We fetch the public page and use Cloudflare Workers AI to extract and clean the recipe. We store the resulting recipe, source URL, attribution, processing status, timestamps, and model version. Public recipes are cached and may be reused for other users. Known tracking parameters are removed, but other URL parameters are preserved because they can identify different recipes. Do not use the preview on private or sensitive recipe links.

Your installation and allowance

A random installation identifier and secret are stored in extension storage. The service stores a hash of the secret, your tier, preparation records, and recipe-opening records to enforce limits. During this preview, there is no user account or cross-device sync. Reinstalling can lose access to your previous allowance and unlocks.

Infrastructure and abuse prevention

Cloudflare hosts the service, database, queue, and AI processing. IP addresses are salted and hashed before being used by application rate limits; Cloudflare also handles network metadata to operate its services. We do not use advertising trackers or sell browsing data. Operational errors and administrative changes may be logged.

Retention and requests

Cached public recipes are retained until removed or refreshed. Installation and usage records remain during the preview unless deleted on request. Contact dev@dullaz.com for privacy questions, removal requests, or publisher corrections. Include your installation identifier when requesting removal of installation records; never send your secret token.

Recipe accuracy

AI cleans wording and structure but may make mistakes. Always check the source if an ingredient, amount, or instruction seems wrong. Serving scaling, unit conversion, saving, and exporting are not yet included.
