Vegan Gravy
A creamy, flavorful gravy that is perfect for drenching over mashed potatoes or pouring over your favorite dishes.
Ingredients
- canola oil (0.25 cup)
- all-purpose flour (0.33 cup)
- vegetable broth (0.25 cup)
- tamari sauce (3 tablespoons)
- soy milk (2 cups)
- nutritional yeast (2 tablespoons)

Instructions
- Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Whisk flour, vegetable broth, and tamari into hot oil; cook and stir until there are no lumps and mixture becomes paste-like, about 5 minutes.
- Pour soy milk into the skillet; cook and stir until mixture thickens, about 5 minutes more.
- Add nutritional yeast and black pepper; stir well and serve hot.
