Turkey in a Bag

This recipe boasts the easiest prep and shortest roasting time, making it great for beginners or first-time hosts.

Ingredients

  • Turkey (1 whole)
  • Flour (2 tbsp)
  • Celery (1 cup)
  • Onion (1 cup)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Sprinkle the inside of the roasting bag with flour.
  3. Place the turkey inside the bag.
  4. Add chopped celery and onion around the turkey inside the bag.
  5. Seal the bag and place it in a roasting pan.
  6. Bake according to package directions or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  7. Let it rest for a few minutes before carving.
