Turkey in a Bag
This recipe boasts the easiest prep and shortest roasting time, making it great for beginners or first-time hosts.
Ingredients
- Turkey (1 whole)
- Flour (2 tbsp)
- Celery (1 cup)
- Onion (1 cup)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Sprinkle the inside of the roasting bag with flour.
- Place the turkey inside the bag.
- Add chopped celery and onion around the turkey inside the bag.
- Seal the bag and place it in a roasting pan.
- Bake according to package directions or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
- Let it rest for a few minutes before carving.
