Sturdy Whipped Cream Frosting
This whipped cream frosting recipe makes enough to cover a 9-inch (2-layer) round cake, or a 9x12-inch sheet pan cake, or 24 cupcakes.
Ingredients
- reduced-fat cream cheese (0.22679618 cup)
- white sugar (0.5 cup)
- vanilla extract (1 teaspoon)
- almond extract (0.5 teaspoon)
- heavy cream (2 cups)
Instructions
- Gather all ingredients.
- Combine cream cheese, sugar, vanilla extract, and almond extract in the bowl of a stand mixer. Mix with the whisk attachment on medium speed until smooth.
- With the mixer on, slowly pour in heavy cream.
- Stop and scrape the bottom of the bowl occasionally. Continue whipping until cream reaches a stiff peak.
- Use to decorate cakes or cupcakes. Enjoy!
