Slow Cooker Thai Pork with Peppers
A delicious Thai-inspired dish with tender pork cooked in a flavorful sauce with peppers, perfect for a hearty meal.
Ingredients
- chicken broth (1 cup)
- soy sauce (0.333 cup)
- creamy peanut butter (0.333 cup)
- honey (3 tablespoons)
- garlic (6 cloves)
- fresh ginger root (2 tablespoons)
- crushed red pepper flakes (1 teaspoon)
- red bell peppers (2 )
- boneless pork chops (1 pound)
Instructions
- Stir together chicken broth, soy sauce, peanut butter, honey, garlic, ginger, crushed red pepper flakes, and bell peppers in the bowl of a slow cooker until combined. Add pork, turning in mixture to coat. Set the cooker on Low. Cook for 5 to 6 hours until pork is tender.
- Remove pork from sauce. Shred pork, return to sauce. Cook until hot, and serve.
