Simply Potatoes® Cheesy Hash Browns

A delicious and easy casserole made with hash browns, cheese, and a crunchy corn flake topping.

Ingredients

  • nonstick cooking spray (0 )
  • Simply Potatoes® Shredded Hash Browns (1 package (20 ounce))
  • condensed cream of chicken soup (1 can (10.5 ounce))
  • Crystal Farms® Shredded Cheddar Cheese (2 cups)
  • sour cream (0.75 cup)
  • chopped onion (0.25 cup)
  • butter or margarine, melted (0.25 cup)
  • corn flakes, coarsely crushed (1.5 cups)
  • butter or margarine, melted (2 tablespoons)

Instructions

  1. Gather all ingredients.
  2. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Coat a 2-quart glass baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
  3. Combine hash browns, condensed soup, Cheddar cheese, sour cream, onion, and melted butter for casserole in a large bowl; mix well.
  4. Spread into the prepared baking dish.
  5. Stir together corn flakes and melted butter for topping in a small bowl.
  6. Spread evenly over hash brown mixture.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven until tender and golden brown, about 45 minutes.
