Savannah Seafood Stuffing

A delicious seafood stuffing recipe perfect for baking, featuring crabmeat and shrimp, and seasoned with vegetables.

Ingredients

  • butter (0.5 cup)
  • crabmeat (1 pound)
  • shrimp (0.5 pound)
  • onion (0.5 cup)
  • celery (0.5 cup)
  • green bell pepper (0.5 cup)
  • corn bread stuffing mix (1 (6 ounce) package)
  • seasoned dry bread crumbs (0.5 cup)
  • white sugar (1 tablespoon)
  • condensed cream of mushroom soup (1 (10.5 ounce) can)
  • chicken broth (1 (14.5 ounce) can)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  2. Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add crabmeat, shrimp, onion, celery, and bell pepper; cook and stir for about 5 minutes. Set aside.
  3. Stir stuffing mix, bread crumbs, and sugar together in a large bowl. Mix in cooked vegetables and seafood from the skillet. Stir in condensed soup and chicken broth. Spoon into a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  4. Bake in the preheated oven until lightly toasted on top, about 30 minutes.
