Sausage Stuffed Mushrooms

Delicious stuffed mushrooms filled with a savory sausage mixture, perfect for parties or appetizers.

Ingredients

  • ground Italian sausage (0.45 kilograms)
  • fresh mushrooms (48 large)
  • cream cheese (0.23 kilograms)
  • dry bread crumbs (0.12 cup)
  • fresh parsley (2 tablespoons)
  • garlic cloves (3 )
  • lemon juice (1 tablespoon)
  • Parmesan cheese (0.06 cup)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C). Line baking sheets with aluminum foil.
  2. Crumble and cook sausage in a skillet over medium heat until no longer pink and lightly browned; drain.
  3. Remove and discard mushroom stems; arrange caps on prepared baking sheets.
  4. Add cooked sausage, cream cheese, bread crumbs, parsley, garlic, and lemon juice to a bowl; stir until blended. Spoon sausage mixture into mushroom caps; sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven until mushrooms are tender and lightly browned, 14 to 16 minutes.
