Raisin Bread French Toast Casserole

This raisin bread casserole tastes good for breakfast, just like French toast. It's easy to make, too. Serve warm with maple syrup on top.

Ingredients

  • raisin bread (1 loaf)
  • eggs (4 piece)
  • milk (2 cup)
  • vanilla extract (1 tsp)
  • ground cinnamon (1 tsp)
  • maple syrup (0.5 cup)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
  3. Cut the raisin bread into cubes and place them into the prepared baking dish.
  4. In a bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, vanilla extract, ground cinnamon, and map syrup until well combined. Pour the mixture over the bread. Press down to ensure all the bread is submerged.
  5. Let it sit for 15 minutes before baking.
  6. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until set and golden on top.
  7. Serve warm with additional maple syrup if desired.
