Raisin Bread French Toast Casserole
This raisin bread casserole tastes good for breakfast, just like French toast. It's easy to make, too. Serve warm with maple syrup on top.
Ingredients
- raisin bread (1 loaf)
- eggs (4 piece)
- milk (2 cup)
- vanilla extract (1 tsp)
- ground cinnamon (1 tsp)
- maple syrup (0.5 cup)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
- Cut the raisin bread into cubes and place them into the prepared baking dish.
- In a bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, vanilla extract, ground cinnamon, and map syrup until well combined. Pour the mixture over the bread. Press down to ensure all the bread is submerged.
- Let it sit for 15 minutes before baking.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes or until set and golden on top.
- Serve warm with additional maple syrup if desired.
