- water (1 inch)
Instructions
- Make your mashed potatoes according to your favorite recipe.
- Take a larger pan or pot that can fit the pot containing the mashed potatoes.
- Fill the larger pot with about an inch of water and bring it to a simmer on the stove.
- Put a lid on your mashed potato pot and gently place it inside the simmering water bath.
- Leave the stove on low and allow the water to simmer for as long as you need to keep your potatoes warm.
