A simple method to keep mashed potatoes warm and fluffy during Thanksgiving.

Ingredients

  • mashed potatoes (1 dish)
  • water (1 inch)

Instructions

  1. Make your mashed potatoes according to your favorite recipe.
  2. Take a larger pan or pot that can fit the pot containing the mashed potatoes.
  3. Fill the larger pot with about an inch of water and bring it to a simmer on the stove.
  4. Put a lid on your mashed potato pot and gently place it inside the simmering water bath.
  5. Leave the stove on low and allow the water to simmer for as long as you need to keep your potatoes warm.
