Quick and Easy Chicken and Wild Rice Soup

Ingredients

  • water (2 cups)
  • chicken broth (2 cups)
  • sweet peas and sliced carrots (1 15 ounce)
  • mushroom pieces and stems (1 6.5 ounce)
  • premium chicken breast in water (1 10 ounce)
  • long grain and wild rice mix (1 4.3 ounce)

  • freshly ground black pepper (0 )
  • chopped green onions (0 )

Instructions

  1. Combine water, broth, peas and carrots, mushrooms, chicken, and rice mix with seasoning in a large pot. Bring to a boil over high heat. Reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 20 minutes.
  2. Ladle into bowls; season with salt and pepper. Garnish with chopped green onions.
