Ingredients
- dried pinto beans (1 pound)
- water (4 cups)
- diced tomatoes with green chile peppers (2 (10 ounce) cans)

- garlic powder (1.5 teaspoons)

Instructions
- Gather all ingredients.
- Place pinto beans into a large pot and pour in enough water to cover by 2 to 3 inches. Let beans soak overnight.
