Perfectly Crisped Bacon and Pancakes
A delightful breakfast of crispy bacon, grilled cheese, and fluffy pancakes made on an electric griddle.

- white bread (2 )
- bacon (1 pound)
- buttermilk (1 cup)
- flour (1 cup)
- sugar (2 tablespoons)
- baking powder (2 teaspoons)
- salt (0.5 teaspoon)
- milk (1 cup)
- egg (1 )
Instructions
- Preheat the electric griddle to medium heat.
- Prepare the pancake batter by mixing the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt in a bowl. In another bowl, whisk together the milk, egg, and melted butter. Combine both mixtures until just mixed.
- Pour the batter onto the griddle to form pancakes. Cook until bubbles form on the surface, then flip and cook until golden brown.
- On another section of the griddle, place the buttered slices of bread and add cheese on top. Cook until the bread is toasted and the cheese is melted, then assemble into a sandwich.
- In a separate area of the griddle, lay out the strips of bacon. Cook until crispy, flipping as needed to achieve a uniformly browned finish.
