Pan Fried Tilapia

Ingredients

  • unsalted butter (2 tablespoons)
  • olive oil (2 teaspoons)
  • garlic (4 cloves)
  • onion (1 tablespoon)
  • Cajun seasoning (1 teaspoon)
  • dried basil (0.5 teaspoon)
  • parsley flakes (0.5 teaspoon)
  • lemon-pepper seasoning (1 pinch)
  • tilapia fillets (1 pound)

Instructions

  1. Heat butter and olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add garlic, onion, Cajun seasoning, basil, parsley, and lemon-pepper seasoning; stir until fragrant, about 30 seconds. Add tilapia fillets; increase heat to medium-high.
  2. Cook tilapia until opaque and easily flakes with a fork, 3 to 4 minutes per side. Adjust temperature if browning too quickly.
