Mexican Shrimp Cocktail

Ingredients

  • cooked shrimp (907 grams)
  • red onion (120 grams)
  • fresh cilantro (15 grams)
  • crushed garlic (15 grams)
  • tomato and clam juice cocktail (355 milliliters)
  • ketchup (60 grams)
  • fresh lime juice (60 milliliters)
  • prepared horseradish (60 grams)
  • hot pepper sauce (5 milliliters)

  • ripe avocado (1 )

Instructions

  1. Gather all ingredients.
  2. Place shrimp in a large bowl. Stir in red onion, cilantro, and garlic.
  3. Add tomato and clam juice, ketchup, lime juice, horseradish, and hot pepper sauce; mix well to combine. Season with salt.
  4. Gently stir in avocado. Cover, and refrigerate for 2 to 3 hours.
