Melting Snowman Buttercream Board
A delightful buttercream dessert styled as a melting snowman, perfect for holiday gatherings.
Ingredients
- Buttercream frosting (1 quantity)
- Chocolate ganache (1 quantity)
- Food coloring (1 tbsp)
- Sour candy ribbon (1 quantity)
- Dippers (1 quantity)
- Parchment paper (1 sheet)
Instructions
- Make the chocolate ganache, allowing it to cool while you make the frosting.
- Make the buttercream frosting.
- Set aside 1 tablespoon of buttercream frosting if using food coloring for the snowman's nose.
- Using a pastry bag or zip-top bag, pipe the buttercream frosting in a circular pattern to create three circles for the snowman's body.
- Spread the frosting to create a smoother look, or leave as piped.
- Add red and yellow food coloring to the reserved frosting to create orange for the carrot nose.
- Pipe the ganache onto the snowman's head for the hat, and pipe the eyes, mouth, and buttons.
- Add the blue candy to create the scarf.
- Add your selected dippers around the snowman for serving.
- Set out plates and spreaders for guests, enjoy!
