Marshmallow Treats

A classic treat made with buttery marshmallows and crispy rice cereal, perfect for a sweet snack or dessert.

Ingredients

  • butter (0.25 cup)
  • miniature marshmallows (4 cups)
  • crispy rice cereal (5 cups)

Instructions

  1. Melt butter in a large saucepan over low heat.
  2. Add marshmallows and stir until melted and well combined. Cook 2 minutes longer, stirring constantly. Remove from heat.
  3. Stir in crispy rice cereal until well coated.
  4. Press mixture evenly and firmly into a buttered 9x13-inch pan using a buttered spatula or waxed paper.
  5. Cut into 2-inch squares when cool.
