Mark’s English Sausage Rolls

Four-ingredient pub classics perfect for pairing with holiday movies.

Ingredients

  • puff pastry (1 packet)
  • sausage meat (450 grams)
  • egg (1 )
  • sesame seeds (1 tsp)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).
  2. Roll out the pastry on a floured surface to about 3mm thick.
  3. Cut the pastry into 10cm squares.
  4. Place a spoonful of sausage meat in the center of each square.
  5. Moisten the edges of the pastry with water, fold over to form a triangle, and press to seal.
  6. Place on a baking tray and brush with beaten egg. Sprinkle sesame seeds on top.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
