Mark’s English Sausage Rolls
Four-ingredient pub classics perfect for pairing with holiday movies.
Ingredients
- puff pastry (1 packet)
- sausage meat (450 grams)
- egg (1 )
- sesame seeds (1 tsp)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).
- Roll out the pastry on a floured surface to about 3mm thick.
- Cut the pastry into 10cm squares.
- Place a spoonful of sausage meat in the center of each square.
- Moisten the edges of the pastry with water, fold over to form a triangle, and press to seal.
- Place on a baking tray and brush with beaten egg. Sprinkle sesame seeds on top.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
