Maple Syrup Cranberry Sauce

A quick and easy cranberry sauce made with maple syrup and fresh cranberries.

Ingredients

  • water (1 cup)
  • maple syrup (1 cup)
  • fresh cranberries (1 bag)
  • brown sugar (1 tablespoon)
  • lemon juice (1 dash)
  • brandy (1 tablespoon)

Instructions

  1. Combine water and maple syrup in a saucepan; bring to a boil.
  2. Add cranberries; cook at a boil until berries pop, 10 to 15 minutes.
  3. Stir in brown sugar and lemon juice until sugar is completely dissolved. Stir in brandy.
