Make Ahead Mashed Potatoes

This make-ahead version is creamy, decadent, and gluten-free, perfect for Thanksgiving.

Ingredients

  • potatoes (2 kg)
  • sour cream (250 grams)
  • cream cheese (200 grams)
  • butter (50 grams)
  • salt (10 grams)
  • pepper (2 grams)

Instructions

  1. Peel and cut the potatoes into chunks, then boil them in salted water until tender, about 20 minutes.
  2. Drain the potatoes and return them to the pot.
  3. Add sour cream, cream cheese, melted butter, salt, and pepper to the potatoes.
  4. Mash until creamy and smooth.
  5. Transfer the mixture to a casserole dish.
  6. Cover and chill in the refrigerator until ready to use.
  7. When ready to serve, preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
  8. Bake the mashed potatoes for about 30-40 minutes, or until heated through. Stir before serving.
