Make Ahead Mashed Potatoes
Ingredients
- potatoes (2 kg)
- sour cream (250 grams)
- cream cheese (200 grams)
- butter (50 grams)
- salt (10 grams)
- pepper (2 grams)
Instructions
- Peel and cut the potatoes into chunks, then boil them in salted water until tender, about 20 minutes.
- Drain the potatoes and return them to the pot.
- Add sour cream, cream cheese, melted butter, salt, and pepper to the potatoes.
- Mash until creamy and smooth.
- Transfer the mixture to a casserole dish.
- Cover and chill in the refrigerator until ready to use.
- When ready to serve, preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
- Bake the mashed potatoes for about 30-40 minutes, or until heated through. Stir before serving.
