Laura's Quick Slow Cooker Turkey Chili
A delicious turkey chili made in a slow cooker, perfect for gatherings.
Ingredients
- vegetable oil (1 tablespoon)
- ground turkey (1 pound)
- cooking spray (0 )
- low sodium tomato soup (2 cans)
- kidney beans (2 cans)
- black beans (1 can)
- onion (0.5 medium)
- chili powder (2 tablespoons)
- garlic powder (0.5 tablespoon)
- ground cumin (0.5 tablespoon)
- red pepper flakes (1 teaspoon)
- ground black pepper (0 )
- ground allspice (0 )
- salt (0 )
Instructions
- Gather all ingredients.
- Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat. Place turkey in the skillet, and cook until evenly brown; drain.
- Coat the inside of a slow cooker with cooking spray, and mix in turkey, tomato soup, kidney beans, black beans, and onion.
- Season with chili powder, garlic powder, cumin, red pepper flakes, black pepper, allspice, and salt.
- Cover, and cook on Low for 8 hours, or on High for 4 hours.
