Juicy Marinated Steaks
Delicious rib-eye steaks marinated in a flavorful mixture of root beer and sauces, perfect for grilling.
Ingredients
- canola oil (0.25 cup)
- high-quality root beer (0.25 cup)
- Worcestershire sauce (2 tablespoons)
- teriyaki sauce (2 tablespoons)
- steak sauce (2 tablespoons)
- garlic salt (1 teaspoon)
- onion salt (0.5 teaspoon)
- ground black pepper (0.5 teaspoon)
- dried basil (0.5 teaspoon)
- ground thyme (0.5 teaspoon)
- dried rosemary (0.5 teaspoon)
- rib-eye steaks (4 (6 ounce))
Instructions
- Stir canola oil, root beer, Worcestershire sauce, teriyaki sauce, steak sauce, garlic salt, onion salt, black pepper, basil, thyme, and rosemary together in a bowl.
- Pierce steaks in several places on both sides. Arrange in a single layer in a shallow, non-reactive dish. Pour marinade over steaks, flipping to coat both sides. Marinate in the refrigerator, 3 to 4 hours, flipping steaks once halfway through.
- Preheat an outdoor grill for medium-high heat, and lightly oil the grate.
- Remove steaks from marinade, shaking off excess moisture. Discard the remaining marinade.
- Cook steaks until beginning to firm and slightly pink in center, 5 to 7 minutes per side. An instant-read thermometer inserted into center should read 140 degrees F (60 degrees C) for medium.
