Jamie Oliver's 2-Ingredient Gnocchi

Ingredients

  • potatoes (2 pounds)
  • flour (0.75 cup)

Instructions

  1. Peel and boil 2-3 pounds of potatoes until they are very tender.
  2. Let the mashed potatoes cool down before proceeding.
  3. Sprinkle around 3/4 cup of flour on top of the cooled mashed potatoes.
  4. Gently fold the flour into the potatoes until a soft dough forms.
  5. Divide the dough, roll it out, and slice it into bite-sized pieces.
  6. Cook the gnocchi by dropping them into a pan of salted boiling water with the lid on until they float (approximately 2-3 minutes).
  7. Serve with your choice of sauce, such as basil pesto, marinara, four-cheese sauce, or sage butter sauce.
