Jalapeno Popper Chicken Casserole

With this jalapeno popper chicken casserole you will have all the flavors of a jalapeno popper but in a complete dish. Think bacon, cheese, jalapenos in a creamy, cheesy casserole—what's not to love?

Ingredients

  • chicken (2 kg)
  • jalapeno (4 pieces)
  • cream cheese (250 grams)
  • bacon (200 grams)
  • monterey jack cheese (300 grams)
  • cheddar cheese (200 grams)
  • seasoned breadcrumbs (1 cup)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. Cook and chop the bacon, then set aside.
  3. In a large bowl, combine the shredded chicken, sliced jalapenos, cooked bacon, softened cream cheese, and half of the Monterey Jack cheese. Mix well.
  4. Transfer the mixture to a greased casserole dish.
  5. Top with remaining Monterey Jack cheese and cheddar cheese.
  6. Sprinkle seasoned breadcrumbs over the top.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 30-40 minutes, or until bubbling and golden brown.
  8. Let cool for a few minutes before serving.
