Jalapeno Popper Chicken Casserole
With this jalapeno popper chicken casserole you will have all the flavors of a jalapeno popper but in a complete dish. Think bacon, cheese, jalapenos in a creamy, cheesy casserole—what's not to love?
Ingredients
- chicken (2 kg)
- jalapeno (4 pieces)
- cream cheese (250 grams)
- bacon (200 grams)
- monterey jack cheese (300 grams)
- cheddar cheese (200 grams)
- seasoned breadcrumbs (1 cup)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
- Cook and chop the bacon, then set aside.
- In a large bowl, combine the shredded chicken, sliced jalapenos, cooked bacon, softened cream cheese, and half of the Monterey Jack cheese. Mix well.
- Transfer the mixture to a greased casserole dish.
- Top with remaining Monterey Jack cheese and cheddar cheese.
- Sprinkle seasoned breadcrumbs over the top.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 30-40 minutes, or until bubbling and golden brown.
- Let cool for a few minutes before serving.
