Jalapeno Cheese Puffs

Crispy and cheesy jalapeno stuffed wontons, perfect as an appetizer.

Ingredients

  • cream cheese (226.8 grams)
  • Monterey Jack cheese (120 grams)
  • jalapeno peppers (113.4 grams)
  • green onions (3 )
  • garlic (2 )
  • wonton wrappers (453.6 grams)
  • vegetable oil (946.35 milliliters)

Instructions

  1. Mix cream cheese, Monterey Jack cheese, jalapeño peppers, green onions, and garlic in a medium bowl.
  2. Fill wonton wrappers with approximately 1 teaspoon of cream cheese mixture each. Fold wrappers into triangles and press the edges with a moistened fork to seal.
  3. Heat oil over medium-high heat in a large, deep skillet. Drop 4 wontons at a time into the oil and quickly fry, turning once. Remove when golden brown and drain on paper towels.
