Inger's Spaghetti Sauce
Ingredients
- olive oil (6 tablespoons)
- onion (1 )
- garlic (1 tablespoon)
- green bell pepper (1 )
- basil (1 tablespoon)
- oregano (1 tablespoon)
- chicken bouillon granules (1 )
- crushed tomatoes (2 )
- tomato paste (1 )
- poultry seasoning (2 teaspoons)
- white sugar (1 teaspoon)
- salt (0 )
- black pepper (0 )
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a pot over medium heat. Add onion and garlic; cook 1 minute. Stir in green bell pepper; season with basil, oregano, and chicken bouillon. Stir in crushed tomatoes and tomato paste; season with poultry seasoning. Cook and stir for 10 minutes.
- Stir sugar into sauce; season with salt and black pepper. Reduce heat to low; simmer for 3 to 4 hours.
