Inger's Spaghetti Sauce

Ingredients

  • olive oil (6 tablespoons)
  • onion (1 )
  • garlic (1 tablespoon)
  • green bell pepper (1 )
  • basil (1 tablespoon)
  • oregano (1 tablespoon)
  • chicken bouillon granules (1 )
  • crushed tomatoes (2 )
  • tomato paste (1 )
  • poultry seasoning (2 teaspoons)
  • white sugar (1 teaspoon)
  • salt (0 )
  • black pepper (0 )

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a pot over medium heat. Add onion and garlic; cook 1 minute. Stir in green bell pepper; season with basil, oregano, and chicken bouillon. Stir in crushed tomatoes and tomato paste; season with poultry seasoning. Cook and stir for 10 minutes.
  2. Stir sugar into sauce; season with salt and black pepper. Reduce heat to low; simmer for 3 to 4 hours.
