Instructions
- Thawing in the refrigerator: Allow approximately 24 hours for every 5 pounds of turkey. Keep the turkey in its original wrapping, place it breast-side up in a baking pan, and you can store it in the fridge for up to two days before cooking.
- Thawing in cold water: Allow approximately 30 minutes per pound of turkey. Keep the turkey in its original wrapping inside a leak-proof bag. Submerge the sealed bag in cold water, changing it every 30 minutes. Cook the turkey immediately after thawing.
- Thawing in the microwave: Refer to your microwave's user manual for the specific thawing instructions. Typically, it could take an hour or more on the defrost setting.
