Good Old-Fashioned Pancakes
Ingredients
- all-purpose flour (1.5 cups)
- baking powder (3.5 tsp)
- salt (1 tsp)
- granulated sugar (1 tbsp)
- milk (1.25 cups)
- eggs (1 units)
- butter (3 tbsp)
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar.
- In another bowl, whisk together milk, eggs, and melted butter.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined; be careful not to overmix.
- Heat a nonstick skillet over medium heat, and lightly grease it with butter or oil.
- Pour 1/4 cup of batter for each pancake onto the skillet.
- Cook until bubbles form on the surface; flip and cook until golden brown on the other side.
