Good Old-Fashioned Pancakes

Ingredients

  • all-purpose flour (1.5 cups)
  • baking powder (3.5 tsp)
  • salt (1 tsp)
  • granulated sugar (1 tbsp)
  • milk (1.25 cups)
  • eggs (1 units)
  • butter (3 tbsp)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar.
  2. In another bowl, whisk together milk, eggs, and melted butter.
  3. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined; be careful not to overmix.
  4. Heat a nonstick skillet over medium heat, and lightly grease it with butter or oil.
  5. Pour 1/4 cup of batter for each pancake onto the skillet.
  6. Cook until bubbles form on the surface; flip and cook until golden brown on the other side.
