Gnocchi Mac and Cheese

A creamy and cheesy gnocchi dish baked to perfection.

Ingredients

  • butter (2 tablespoons)
  • all-purpose flour (2 tablespoons)
  • heavy cream (0.25 cup)
  • evaporated milk (1 cup)
  • Worcestershire sauce (0.5 teaspoon)
  • mustard (0.5 teaspoon)
  • Cheddar cheese (1 cup)
  • Cheddar cheese powder (2 tablespoons)
  • gnocchi (12 ounces)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
  2. Melt butter in a saucepan over medium high-heat. Whisk in flour until smooth, and cook about 1 minute.
  3. Whisk in cream, evaporated milk, Worcestershire, and mustard. Stir in Cheddar cheese and cheese powder and cook until cheese melts, about 2 minutes. If you prefer a thinner sauce, add evaporated milk, 1 tablespoon at a time, until sauce is the consistency you like.
  4. Stir in gnocchi; pour mixture into a small baking dish.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven until bubbly, about 20 minutes. Serve immediately.
