Glazed Ginger Carrots

Ingredients

  • baby carrots (340 grams)
  • water (240 milliliters)
  • unsalted butter (43 grams)
  • brown sugar (30 grams)
  • ground ginger (4.5 grams)
  • salt (1 grams)

Instructions

  1. Bring carrots and water to a boil in a saucepan. Reduce heat to low, and simmer until carrots are tender, about 10 minutes. Drain carrots. Stir in butter to coat.
  2. Stir in brown sugar, ginger, and salt. Return to a boil, and cook, stirring often, until carrots are glazed, 2 to 3 minutes.
