Glazed Ginger Carrots
Ingredients
- baby carrots (340 grams)
- water (240 milliliters)
- unsalted butter (43 grams)
- brown sugar (30 grams)
- ground ginger (4.5 grams)
- salt (1 grams)
Instructions
- Bring carrots and water to a boil in a saucepan. Reduce heat to low, and simmer until carrots are tender, about 10 minutes. Drain carrots. Stir in butter to coat.
- Stir in brown sugar, ginger, and salt. Return to a boil, and cook, stirring often, until carrots are glazed, 2 to 3 minutes.
