Funeral Sandwiches
A delicious recipe for sandwiches made with ham and Swiss cheese, perfect for gatherings.
Ingredients

- ham (1 pound)
- Swiss cheese (0.5 pound)
- Hawaiian bread rolls (2 packages)
- butter (1 cup)
- brown sugar (4 tablespoons)
- Worcestershire sauce (2 tablespoons)
- yellow mustard (2 tablespoons)
- poppy seeds (2 tablespoons)
Instructions
- Spray a cookie sheet with cooking spray. Place ham and Swiss cheese slices on the bottom of each bread roll and cover with tops; arrange rolls in an even layer on the prepared sheet.
- Mix butter, brown sugar, Worcestershire, mustard, and poppy seeds together in a small bowl; spoon over sandwich tops. Let sit, at least 1 hour to overnight.
- Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
- Bake in the preheated oven, uncovered, until golden on top and cheese is melted, about 15 to 20 minutes.
