Feta Cheese Foldovers

These golden puffed pastries are filled with a simple feta cheese mixture.

Ingredients

  • feta cheese (200 grams)
  • puff pastry (1 pack)
  • egg (1 whole)
  • olive oil (1 tablespoon)
  • black pepper (0.5 teaspoon)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Roll out the puff pastry on a lightly floured surface.
  3. Cut the pastry into squares of about 4 inches.
  4. In a bowl, combine crumbled feta cheese, beaten egg, olive oil, and black pepper.
  5. Place a heaping spoonful of the feta mixture in the center of each square.
  6. Fold the pastry over and seal the edges.
  7. Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and brush the tops with egg.
  8. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
