Feta Cheese Foldovers
These golden puffed pastries are filled with a simple feta cheese mixture.
Ingredients
- feta cheese (200 grams)
- puff pastry (1 pack)
- egg (1 whole)
- olive oil (1 tablespoon)
- black pepper (0.5 teaspoon)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Roll out the puff pastry on a lightly floured surface.
- Cut the pastry into squares of about 4 inches.
- In a bowl, combine crumbled feta cheese, beaten egg, olive oil, and black pepper.
- Place a heaping spoonful of the feta mixture in the center of each square.
- Fold the pastry over and seal the edges.
- Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and brush the tops with egg.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
