A perfect mix of cheeses, apples, salami, and crunchy cornichons in a jar, ideal for gatherings.

Ingredients

  • extra virgin olive oil (0.25 cup)
  • apple cider vinegar (3 tablespoons)
  • honey (1 tablespoon)
  • whole-grain mustard (1 tablespoon)
  • black pepper (0.25 teaspoon)
  • kosher salt (0.25 teaspoon)
  • garlic clove (1 )
  • Granny Smith apple (1 )
  • Honeycrisp apple (1 )
  • white sharp Cheddar cheese (6 ounces)
  • salami (1 cup)
  • cornichons (1 cup)
  • shallot (2 tablespoons)
  • dried cranberries (0.33 cup)
  • walnut halves (0.33 cup)

Instructions

  1. Whisk together oil, vinegar, whole grain mustard, honey, pepper, salt, and grated garlic in a bowl until well combined.
  2. In a large bowl, mix together apples, Cheddar cheese, salami, cornichons, shallots, cranberries, and walnuts until evenly combined. Drizzle with prepared dressing until well coated. Transfer mixture to a large jar with a lid. Shake and store in the refrigerator for up to 5 days or until ready to serve.
