Ingredients
- flour (3600 grams)
- butter (4536 grams)
- sugar (1984 grams)
- raisins (544 grams)
- eggs (36 whole)
- wine (480 milliliters)
- brandy (960 milliliters)
- cinnamon (113 grams)
- allspice (85 grams)
Instructions
- Wet the flour with the milk to the consistency of bread overnight, adding one quart yeast.
- The next morning, work the butter and sugar together for half an hour to make the cake lighter and whiter.
- When the mixture has risen light, add every other ingredient except the plumbs, which you will work in just before going into the oven.
