Easy Fried Spinach
A quick and delicious side dish of sautéed fresh spinach with garlic, perfect for any meal.
Ingredients
- unsalted butter (0.25 cup)
- canola oil (0.25 cup)
- fresh spinach leaves (20 ounce)
- garlic (8 cloves)
Instructions
- Melt butter with oil in a large skillet over medium heat until the mixture stops bubbling. (This allows water in the butter to evaporate.)
- Add garlic; cook and stir until it begins to brown, about 2 minutes.
- Add spinach; cook and stir until leaves are dark and about 1/4 of their original size, about 5 minutes.
