Doube-Double Animal-Style Burger

A delicious copycat recipe to recreate In-N-Out's beloved Double-Double burger along with Animal-Style fries at home.

Ingredients

  • ground beef (0.5 kg)
  • cheddar cheese (2 slice)
  • burger buns (2 unit)
  • lettuce (2 leaf)
  • tomato (1 medium)
  • pickles (4 slice)
  • onion (1 small)
  • mustard (1 tbsp)
  • ketchup (1 tbsp)
  • secret sauce (2 tbsp)
  • fries (0.5 kg)

Instructions

  1. Cook the ground beef on a hot grill for about 3-4 minutes on each side, ensuring it is thoroughly cooked.
  2. During the last minute of cooking, place the cheese slices on top of the patties to melt.
  3. Toast the burger buns lightly on the grill.
  4. Assemble the burger by adding the melted cheese-covered patties onto the bottom bun.
  5. Layer on lettuce, tomato slices, pickles, and onion slices.
  6. Spread mustard and ketchup on the top bun before placing it on the assembled burger.
  7. Cook the fries according to package instructions while the burgers are cooking.
  8. For the animal-style fries, serve the fries topped with melted cheese and secret sauce.
