Delicious Turkey Burgers

Juicy turkey burgers mixed with bacon, cheese, and spices, perfect for grilling.

Ingredients

  • bacon (0.25 pound)
  • ground turkey (1 (20 ounce) package)
  • bread crumbs (0.5 cup)
  • shredded Cheddar cheese (0.5 cup)
  • finely chopped yellow onion (0.333 cup)
  • egg (1 )
  • jalapeño pepper (1 )
  • garlic (2 cloves)
  • ground cumin (0.25 teaspoon)
  • salt (0 )
  • ground black pepper (0 )

Instructions

  1. Place bacon in a large skillet and cook over medium-high heat, turning occasionally, until evenly browned, about 10 minutes. Drain and cool on a plate lined with paper towels. Crumble bacon.
  2. Mix bacon, turkey, bread crumbs, cheese, onion, egg, jalapeño, garlic, cumin, salt, and pepper together in a bowl. Shape mixture into eight 1/4-pound patties.
  3. Preheat an outdoor grill for medium-high heat and lightly oil the grate.
  4. Cook turkey burgers on the preheated grill until no longer pink in the center and the juices run clear, 7 to 10 minutes per side. An instant-read thermometer inserted into the center should read at least 165 degrees F (74 degrees C).
