Delicious Turkey Burgers
Juicy turkey burgers mixed with bacon, cheese, and spices, perfect for grilling.
Ingredients
- bacon (0.25 pound)
- ground turkey (1 (20 ounce) package)
- bread crumbs (0.5 cup)
- shredded Cheddar cheese (0.5 cup)
- finely chopped yellow onion (0.333 cup)
- egg (1 )
- jalapeño pepper (1 )
- garlic (2 cloves)
- ground cumin (0.25 teaspoon)
- salt (0 )
- ground black pepper (0 )
Instructions
- Place bacon in a large skillet and cook over medium-high heat, turning occasionally, until evenly browned, about 10 minutes. Drain and cool on a plate lined with paper towels. Crumble bacon.
- Mix bacon, turkey, bread crumbs, cheese, onion, egg, jalapeño, garlic, cumin, salt, and pepper together in a bowl. Shape mixture into eight 1/4-pound patties.
- Preheat an outdoor grill for medium-high heat and lightly oil the grate.
- Cook turkey burgers on the preheated grill until no longer pink in the center and the juices run clear, 7 to 10 minutes per side. An instant-read thermometer inserted into the center should read at least 165 degrees F (74 degrees C).
