Deep-Fried Turkey

Crispy, juicy, and downright tasty; a deep-fried turkey can finally compete with mashed potatoes and stuffing.

Ingredients

  • Turkey (1 item)
  • Peanut oil (6 liters)
  • Seasoning (1 tbsp)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the turkey by thawing it completely and removing any giblets.
  2. Inject the turkey with your desired marinade using a flavor injector if desired.
  3. In a large fryer, heat peanut oil to 350°F (175°C).
  4. Carefully place the turkey into the hot oil, ensuring it is fully submerged.
  5. Fry the turkey for about 3-4 minutes per pound, monitoring the temperature continuously.
  6. Once the turkey reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C), carefully remove it from the oil.
  7. Let it rest for at least 20 minutes before carving.
