Danny's Homemade Fresh Ingredients Spaghetti Sauce

A delicious homemade spaghetti sauce made with fresh ingredients and spices.

Ingredients

  • olive oil (1 tablespoon)
  • ground beef (8 ounces)
  • ground cumin (1 teaspoon)
  • tomatoes, chopped (1.5 )
  • onion, chopped (0.33 )
  • bell pepper, diced (0.25 )
  • garlic, minced (3 cloves)
  • tomatoes, quartered (1.5 )
  • onion, chunked (0.67 )
  • water (0.33 cup)
  • bell pepper (0.25 )
  • vinegar (1 tablespoon)
  • garlic (3 cloves)
  • Worcestershire sauce (2 teaspoons)
  • dried basil (2 teaspoons)
  • dried oregano (2 teaspoons)
  • dried parsley (2 teaspoons)
  • dried cilantro (2 teaspoons)
  • paprika (2 teaspoons)
  • soy sauce (1 teaspoon)
  • hot sauce (1 teaspoon)
  • brown sugar (1 teaspoon)
  • salt (0 )

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a saucepan over medium heat. Add ground beef and cumin; cook and stir until meat is lightly browned, about 5 to 10 minutes.
  2. Stir in chopped tomatoes, chopped onion, diced bell pepper, and minced garlic; cook and stir until meat is browned and vegetables are soft, about 5 to 7 minutes.
  3. Combine quartered tomatoes, chunked onion, water, bell pepper, vinegar, garlic cloves, Worcestershire sauce, basil, oregano, parsley, cilantro, paprika, soy sauce, hot sauce, brown sugar, and salt in a blender; blend to desired thickness, adding more water to thin sauce as desired.
  4. Stir sauce into ground beef mixture; cover and cook until sauce reaches desired consistency, about 15 to 20 minutes.
