Creamy Parmesan Brussels Sprouts

Ingredients

  • unsalted butter (1 tablespoon)
  • sliced Brussels sprouts (4 cups)
  • heavy cream (1.25 cups)
  • shredded Parmesan cheese (0.25 cup)
  • garlic, minced (1 clove)
  • salt and ground black pepper (0 )
  • ground nutmeg (1 pinch)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 300 degrees F (150 degrees C). Generously grease a 9x9-inch baking dish with butter.
  2. Spread Brussels sprouts in an even layer in the prepared baking dish. Whisk cream, Parmesan cheese, garlic, salt, and black pepper together in a bowl until thoroughly combined. Pour cream mixture over Brussels sprouts. Sprinkle top with nutmeg.
  3. Cover the dish with foil, and bake in the preheated oven until tender, about 1 hour. Remove foil, and bake uncovered until the top has browned, 15 more minutes.
