Creamy Mashed Potatoes

Ingredients

  • Yukon gold potatoes (900 grams)
  • cream (240 ml)
  • butter (120 grams)
  • fresh sage (2 sprigs)
  • fresh rosemary (2 sprigs)
  • garlic cloves (4 )
  • salt (5 grams)

Instructions

  1. Peel and cube the Yukon gold potatoes.
  2. Boil the potatoes in a large pot of salted water until fork-tender, about 15-20 minutes.
  3. While potatoes cook, in a small pot, combine cream, butter, sage, rosemary, and garlic over low heat to infuse flavors.
  4. Once potatoes are tender, drain and add them to a stand mixer fitted with the whisk attachment.
  5. Slowly pour in the flavored cream mixture while the mixer is running, until the desired consistency is reached.
  6. Season with salt to taste and mix briefly to combine, but avoid overmixing.
