Creamy Mashed Potatoes
Ingredients
- Yukon gold potatoes (900 grams)
- cream (240 ml)
- butter (120 grams)
- fresh sage (2 sprigs)
- fresh rosemary (2 sprigs)
- garlic cloves (4 )
- salt (5 grams)
Instructions
- Peel and cube the Yukon gold potatoes.
- Boil the potatoes in a large pot of salted water until fork-tender, about 15-20 minutes.
- While potatoes cook, in a small pot, combine cream, butter, sage, rosemary, and garlic over low heat to infuse flavors.
- Once potatoes are tender, drain and add them to a stand mixer fitted with the whisk attachment.
- Slowly pour in the flavored cream mixture while the mixer is running, until the desired consistency is reached.
- Season with salt to taste and mix briefly to combine, but avoid overmixing.
