Cranberry Sauce
The perfect cranberry sauce should have a jammy, spoonable texture and taste equally good warm or cold. It should be tart enough to make you pucker, but not so tart that your eyes begin to water.
Ingredients
- cranberries (340 grams)
- sugar (200 grams)
- orange juice (120 ml)
Instructions
- Rinse and drain the cranberries.
- In a saucepan, combine cranberries, sugar, and orange juice.
- Cook over medium heat, stirring until the sugar dissolves and the berries begin to pop and soften.
- Reduce heat and let simmer until desired thickness is reached, about 10-15 minutes.
- Remove from heat and cool.
- Serve warm or chilled.
