Cozy Cold-Weather Dinner

A comforting three-course menu perfect for cold days, featuring easy Italian-American dishes that can be made ahead.

Ingredients

  • Romaine lettuce (1 head)
  • Croutons (2 cup)
  • Chicken thighs (4 pieces)
  • Bell peppers (2 medium)
  • Olive oil (4 tablespoon)
  • Espresso (1 cup)
  • Butter (0.5 cup)
  • Sugar (1 cup)
  • Flour (1.5 cup)
  • Powdered cacao (0.5 cup)
  • Eggs (3 )

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Caesar salad by washing and tearing the Romaine lettuce into bite-sized pieces.
  2. Add big crunchy croutons on top of the salad and drizzle with Caesar dressing just before serving.
  3. For the Chicken Scarpariello, sauté chicken thighs in olive oil until golden brown.
