Cornbread Dressing
Ingredients
- cornbread (1 large)
- celery (2 cup)
- onion (1 medium)
- chicken broth (3 cup)
- shredded roasted hens (2 cup)
- sage (1 teaspoon)
- salt (1 teaspoon)
- black pepper (1 teaspoon)
- butter (0.5 cup)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, combine the prepared cornbread, chopped celery, and chopped onion.
- In another bowl, mix the chicken broth, shredded hens, sage, salt, and pepper.
- Pour the broth mixture over the cornbread mixture and stir until well combined.
- Pour the mixture into a greased baking dish.
- Drizzle melted butter over the top.
- Bake for 30-40 minutes or until golden brown and set.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
