Cornbread Dressing

Ingredients

  • cornbread (1 large)
  • celery (2 cup)
  • onion (1 medium)
  • chicken broth (3 cup)
  • shredded roasted hens (2 cup)
  • sage (1 teaspoon)
  • salt (1 teaspoon)
  • black pepper (1 teaspoon)
  • butter (0.5 cup)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the prepared cornbread, chopped celery, and chopped onion.
  3. In another bowl, mix the chicken broth, shredded hens, sage, salt, and pepper.
  4. Pour the broth mixture over the cornbread mixture and stir until well combined.
  5. Pour the mixture into a greased baking dish.
  6. Drizzle melted butter over the top.
  7. Bake for 30-40 minutes or until golden brown and set.
  8. Let cool slightly before serving.
