Cinnamon Apple Quesadillas

A delicious and quick dessert quesadilla that features caramelized apples with cinnamon, served in a tortilla.

Ingredients

  • Honeycrisp apple (1 )
  • light corn syrup (2 tablespoons)
  • honey (1 tablespoon)
  • maple syrup (1 tablespoon)
  • ground cinnamon (1 pinch)
  • brown sugar (1 pinch)
  • flour tortillas (2 )

Instructions

  1. Heat a large skillet over medium-low heat.
  2. Add apple, corn syrup, honey, maple syrup, ground cinnamon, and brown sugar; cook, stirring every few minutes, until apple is slightly softened and caramelized, about 8 to 10 minutes. Transfer mixture to a bowl.
  3. Place 1 tortilla in same skillet over medium-low heat; spread apple mixture on tortilla. Top with remaining tortilla.
  4. Cook until bottom tortilla is golden brown, about 1 to 3 minutes. Carefully flip quesadilla; cook until bottom tortilla is golden brown, another 1 to 3 minutes.
