Cinnamon Apple Quesadillas
A delicious and quick dessert quesadilla that features caramelized apples with cinnamon, served in a tortilla.
Ingredients
- Honeycrisp apple (1 )
- light corn syrup (2 tablespoons)
- honey (1 tablespoon)
- maple syrup (1 tablespoon)
- ground cinnamon (1 pinch)
- brown sugar (1 pinch)
- flour tortillas (2 )
Instructions
- Heat a large skillet over medium-low heat.
- Add apple, corn syrup, honey, maple syrup, ground cinnamon, and brown sugar; cook, stirring every few minutes, until apple is slightly softened and caramelized, about 8 to 10 minutes. Transfer mixture to a bowl.
- Place 1 tortilla in same skillet over medium-low heat; spread apple mixture on tortilla. Top with remaining tortilla.
- Cook until bottom tortilla is golden brown, about 1 to 3 minutes. Carefully flip quesadilla; cook until bottom tortilla is golden brown, another 1 to 3 minutes.
