Chicken Pastina

Ingredients

  • chicken (1 kg)
  • pastina (100 grams)
  • carrots (2 )
  • celery (2 )
  • onion (1 )
  • garlic (2 cloves)
  • chicken broth (4 cups)
  • olive oil (2 tbsp)
  • salt (1 tsp)
  • pepper (0.5 tsp)
  • parmesan cheese (50 grams)

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, heat olive oil over medium heat.
  2. Add chicken pieces and cook until browned on all sides.
  3. Add diced carrots, celery, onion, and garlic; sauté until vegetables are tender.
  4. Pour in chicken broth and bring to a boil.
  5. Stir in pastina and cook until tender, about 8 minutes.
  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Serve hot, garnished with grated parmesan cheese.
