Cheesy Tomato Soup

A quick and creamy tomato soup recipe with American cheese and a hint of sweetness.

Ingredients

  • unsalted butter (2 tablespoons)
  • all-purpose flour (2 tablespoons)
  • milk (2 cups)
  • condensed cream of tomato soup (1 can)
  • white sugar (1 tablespoon)
  • American cheese, grated (8 ounces)

Instructions

  1. Melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat; stir in flour. Add milk, soup, and sugar; stir until incorporated. Heat until just about to boil; stir in cheese. Cook and stir until cheese is completely melted, but do not allow to boil.
