Cheddar Bay Biscuits

Deliciously warm and cheesy biscuits, reminiscent of Red Lobster's famous dish.

Ingredients

  • all-purpose flour (2.25 cup)
  • baking powder (1 tbsp)
  • garlic powder (0.5 tsp)
  • salt (0.5 tsp)
  • shredded cheddar cheese (1 cup)
  • milk (3 tbsp)
  • butter (0.5 cup)
  • parsley (1 tbsp)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the flour, baking powder, garlic powder, and salt.
  3. Fold in the shredded cheddar cheese until well combined.
  4. Add the milk and melted butter and stir until just combined – do not overmix.
  5. Use a scoop or spoon to drop the dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
  6. Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
  7. Remove from the oven and brush with melted butter mixed with chopped parsley.
