Ingredients

  • sofrito sauce (60 milliliters)
  • adobo seasoning (15 grams)
  • Sazón seasoning (5 grams)
  • dried oregano (1 grams)

  • beef stew meat (907 grams)
  • water (240 milliliters)
  • peeled, cubed potatoes (480 grams)

Instructions

  1. Combine tomato sauce, sofrito sauce, adobo seasoning, Sazón seasoning, oregano, and salt in a large pot; simmer over medium low heat for 5 minutes.
  2. Add beef; cook until evenly browned.
  3. Stir in just enough water to cover beef; cover pot and simmer for about 1 hour.
  4. Add potatoes; cook until potatoes are tender, about 30 minutes.
